"Gas soft nitriding treatment" is a heat treatment process that maintains a temperature range of 550 to 600°C in a mixed atmosphere of carburizing gas and NH3 (ammonia), allowing nitrogen and carbon to diffuse into the surface to form carbonitrides and achieve surface hardening. By leveraging the characteristics of the Unizoff method, it is also capable of performing precise heat treatment without unevenness, even for one-off and small-lot products. This treatment is actively adopted for sliding components, wear-resistant parts, resin molds, and more, starting from prototypes and development to heat treatment for one-off and small-lot products. 【Features】 - Strong improvement in wear resistance and corrosion resistance - Effective in suppressing distortion, suitable for products with strict dimensional accuracy - Adopts retort peripheral cooling method to reduce load on products - Minimal nitriding unevenness, resulting in a beautiful (silver-gray) finish - Capable of handling sizes up to Φ600mm × 1000mm

Metal nitriding refers to a treatment that diffuses nitrogen atoms into the metal to improve surface hardness, with the expectation of extending the service life by 2 to 3 times. "Atom Nitriding" is an innovative technology for plasma nitriding. In general nitriding methods, it is difficult to avoid the formation of a compound layer, necessitating the grinding removal of this layer. However, since tools and molds have complex shapes, grinding removal is challenging. Improved corrosion resistance and wear resistance! "Gas soft nitriding treatment" using the Unizoff method.

Gas soft nitriding treatment is a heat treatment that forms carbonitrides on the surface by allowing nitrogen and carbon to diffuse into it while maintaining a temperature range of 550 to 600°C in a mixed atmosphere of carburizing gas and NH3 (ammonia). The Unizoff method generates this mixed atmosphere using the thermal decomposition gas of urea, creating a consistently stable environment. Compared to salt bath heat treatment, it does not use cyanates, making it an environmentally friendly heat treatment method that contributes to pollution prevention. You can choose a set method that suits the product, such as direct placement on jigs, hanging, or alignment.
