While they may be over-spec or out of place for everyday use, many people find the aesthetic beauty of their specialized functions appealing and are incorporating them into their interiors. The one-touch door handle was originally designed for use primarily in hospitals and research facilities. The handle, made from cast aluminum in a unique shape, features embossed markings of "PUSH" and "PULL," giving it a presence that ordinary door knobs lack. While it may feel unfamiliar when used in a home, that sense of incongruity adds a distinctive touch to the space. It is a door handle characterized by being "different from the usual." ★Touching a Chunk of Aluminum The lever part is a casting made by pouring molten aluminum into a mold.
