★We have prepared three types of neutral wood grain. The surface finishes are available in three types: Lauan, Cedar, and MDF. Unlike doors finished with wood grain sheets or plywood that have a smooth texture characteristic of resin, you can enjoy the natural material feel that becomes more flavorful with use. This is particularly well-suited for those who appreciate the charm of vintage furniture and interior styles. Since it is an unfinished product, you can paint it in your preferred color to match your space and taste. Lauan has individual color variations, but it is a material with good dyeing properties, making it recommended for coloring. Dyeing it in brown tones can especially create a craft-like feel. Cedar, which has a light and bright color, is often used for custom furniture. While it can certainly be colored, it is recommended to enjoy its natural expression with clear oil. MDF, which is rare as a door finishing material, is often used for storage boxes and is my personal favorite for its rustic warmth. It absorbs water easily, so a water-based matte urethane finish is recommended.
