Benkan Kiko Special Coating Pipe Fittings

We can perform special coating on pipe fittings according to customer requests.

Steel products are easily corroded when left uncoated in the atmosphere, and rust occurs electrochemically due to oxygen and moisture in the air. It is possible to protect the products from corrosion and aging conditions by applying paint. Steel products used in plants and pipelines are particularly often painted, and at Benkan Kiko, we can supply products that have been painted or coated with customer-specified paints, thereby reducing on-site painting work. For products that do not have special painting instructions, we apply temporary rust prevention that suppresses rust for about six months when stored indoors.

Seamless stainless steel butt-welded pipe fitting

For seamless stainless steel pipe fittings, contact Benkan Kiko! We accommodate a wide range of items.

Stainless steel seamless pipe fittings are used in many fields of piping that require corrosion resistance, ranging from low to high temperatures and high-pressure applications. As the name suggests, seamless pipe fittings are made from pipe without joints, which minimizes the risk of corrosion at the longitudinal welds and makes them suitable for critical piping specifications. Our company stocks elbows up to 12B and tee reducers up to 8B, and we have a system in place for immediate delivery to respond to urgent requests. Additionally, for products larger than the above sizes, we have the capability to manufacture a wide variety of products in terms of both types and materials to accommodate various customer piping designs. For example... "I need just one seamless elbow by tomorrow; can you accommodate that?" "This is a bit of a special material for stainless piping; can you handle the fittings?" "Can you manufacture fittings with special shapes?" If you have any concerns, please feel free to consult with us. For information on our manufacturing capabilities, please also visit our website. http://benkankikoh.com/weldfit/w-disposal/w-disposal-index.html

Classification Society Standard Compliant Pipe Fittings

For ship classification standard compliant pipe fittings, leave it to Benkan Kiko for stable supply!

There are pipe fittings manufactured using materials certified by classification societies, referred to as "marine grade." These fittings are made from materials that meet the standards set by the classification societies, which are generally difficult to obtain. However, at Benkan Kiko, we leverage our extensive experience and sources for material procurement to provide stable supply capabilities, assisting our customers with design, procurement, and production. We can accommodate carbon steel, low-temperature steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. We primarily support materials from the following five classification societies: 1. Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK) (KSTPT38, KLPB, KSTPA22, KSUS316LW, K304LTP, etc.) 2. Bureau Veritas (BV) (BV360, etc.) 3. DNV GL (DNV) (TS360, GL360, etc.) 4. Lloyd's Register (LR) (LR360, LR410, LR360LT, LR440, etc.) 5. American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) (ABS 2, ABS 3, ABS 4, ABS 5, ABS 1L, ABS 12, etc.) We can also accommodate other steel grades not listed above. Please feel free to contact us.

Low-temperature piping fittings (piping fitting materials PL380, PL450)

For inquiries about low-temperature piping fittings for PL380 and PL450, please contact Benkan Kiko.

There are materials for pipe fittings used for low-temperature piping, namely "PL380" and "PL450." ■PL380 Category: Carbon Steel (Aluminum Killed Steel) Usage: Used for low-temperature piping down to -45°C. Mainly used for fluids such as ammonia and LPG. Our Response: We have steel pipes for some sizes in stock, and we can manufacture the relevant sizes with a relatively short lead time. ■PL450 Category: Alloy Steel (3-1/2Ni Steel) Usage: Used for low-temperature piping down to -100°C. Mainly used for fluids such as hydrogen sulfide, CO2, and acetylene. Our Response: While we do not always have this material in stock, we can accommodate requests. Additionally, austenitic stainless steel and aluminum may also be used. For welded pipe fittings when selecting PL380, PL450, austenitic stainless steel, or aluminum in piping design, please contact Benkan Kiko. *We will provide detailed estimates for lead times and prices based on your specific conditions.

Non-ferrous metal aluminum pipe fittings

Benkan Kiko also manufactures aluminum pipe fittings.

At Benkan Kiko, we have a wealth of experience in the manufacturing of aluminum and aluminum alloy pipe fittings. Characteristics of Aluminum: - It is lightweight and easy to process, but has low strength. - It has good thermal conductivity. - Its toughness does not decrease at low temperatures, making it suitable for use in extremely low temperatures such as liquid hydrogen at -252.7°C. - It has excellent weather resistance due to the formation of an oxide film when it reacts with oxygen in the atmosphere; however, this oxide film can be destroyed in acidic or alkaline environments, particularly in the presence of chloride ions or alkaline conditions. Due to these characteristics, aluminum is a material that is difficult to shape and weld. However, it offers significant advantages such as corrosion resistance and maintaining toughness at low temperatures, making it suitable for piping in harsh corrosive environments like seawater, as well as for extremely low-temperature piping and tanks for liquefied natural gas and liquid hydrogen. At Benkan Kiko, we have established molding and welding techniques through years of accumulated technology and know-how, enabling us to manufacture with delicate materials like aluminum. Additionally, based on our extensive experience and achievements, we can flexibly address various problem-solving needs. Please feel free to consult or request our services with confidence.

Welded pipe fittings with PAD (backing plate)

If you want to attach a PAD (backing plate) to a pipe fitting, please consult Benkan Kiko!

"I want to join the pipe fittings and support materials, but I'm concerned about strength and thermal effects, so I don't want to attach them to the main body of the pipe fitting. Welding and attaching a PAD (backing plate) to the pipe fitting on-site is cumbersome." In such cases, please do not hesitate to contact Benkan Kiko. By attaching a PAD (backing plate) to the necessary parts in piping support structures (horizontal and vertical loads), we can enable the joining of the PAD section and the support material. However, manufacturing pipe fittings with PADs is not easy. The PAD and the pipe fitting are produced separately through plastic processing, but welding them together so that they fit perfectly requires a very difficult task known as PAD shape correction. Benkan Kiko has three domestic factories (five locations) and various know-how accumulated by skilled craftsmen who hone their skills there. There have been cases where pipe fittings with PADs, which were deemed technically difficult during the consideration stage, were made possible by pooling wisdom and technology across factories. Although the PAD (backing plate) attached welded pipe fittings are custom-made and unique, please consider contacting Benkan Kiko when you are evaluating your options.

Welded pipe fittings finished with buffing polish.

For welded pipe fittings with buff finish polishing, please consult Benkan Kiko.

There are cases where "polishing" is required for the surface finish specifications of welded pipe fittings, and particularly for stainless steel products, a glossy and smooth finish is achieved through "buff polishing." "Buff polishing" is a method that uses a polishing tool equipped with cotton, felt, or wool called a "buff," along with a paste-like polishing material, to smooth the surface, especially when a mirror finish is required. Buff polishing has classifications of "roughness," expressed as a certain grade number. Generally, the larger the number, the higher the grade, resulting in a glossier surface on the product. At Benkan Kiko, regardless of buff polishing finish, we accommodate surface grade specifications not only with the polishing material grade but also with surface roughness parameters (Ra, Rmax, etc.), roughness symbols, evaluations using comparison test pieces, and evaluations using surface roughness gauges, allowing us to meet surface grade requirements tailored to specific applications. If polishing is necessary for welded pipe fittings in piping design, please feel free to contact us. <Varieties> - Elbows, T, reducers, caps, stub ends <Materials> - We can accommodate various materials including SUS304, SUS304L, SUS316, SUS316L, and others.
