However, manufacturing pipe fittings with PADs is not easy. The PAD and the pipe fitting are produced separately through plastic processing, but welding them together so that they fit perfectly requires a very difficult task known as PAD shape correction. Benkan Kiko has three domestic factories (five locations) and various know-how accumulated by skilled craftsmen who hone their skills there. There have been cases where pipe fittings with PADs, which were deemed technically difficult during the consideration stage, were made possible by pooling wisdom and technology across factories.
