CONOC AX Transformation Roadmap

From SaaS to AI on SaaS to AaS. A medium- to long-term strategy depicting the next phase of digital transformation in the construction industry.

CONOC Corporation has announced a three-phase roadmap to evolve the CONOC construction industry cloud into a "platform where AI takes on business operations (AaaS)." The first phase focuses on streamlining business management through the cloud (currently), the second phase involves AI assisting in operations with AI on SaaS (ongoing), and the third phase aims for AI to take over the operations themselves as AaaS (As a Service). The automation of tasks such as estimates, invoicing, project management, and daily reports will be progressively advanced to accelerate AX (AI Transformation) in the construction industry. Through a capital and business partnership with JAPAN AI Corporation, 16 AI agents are planned to be deployed by the end of the 2026 fiscal year.
