The "ecoweb(TM) geocell" is made from high-density polyethylene that is shaped into a honeycomb structure through ultrasonic welding. It is a construction method that fills local excavated soil or crushed stone to provide a constrained supporting ground. In the subgrade, a geocell layer effect can be achieved as a base layer when the CBR is below 3%, allowing for a thin layer application. However, the original soil had a high water content ratio, making it difficult to transport using dump trucks. Therefore, MT-2 was adopted, and after improving the soil with this product, it was initially transported within the site using a crawler dump truck, and then further transported to a temporary storage area several kilometers away using a dump truck.
