In order to achieve efficient and effective construction, including cost reduction, the bureau shares information on excellent new technologies developed in the private sector and actively utilizes them in the projects it undertakes. To this end, it has established the "New Technology Evaluation and Selection Guidelines," which allow for proposals from developers of new technologies and facilitate information gathering. From the proposals received, the bureau selects those new technologies that are expected to be effective in its projects, compiles them as the "New Technology Information Database," and provides information on them. During the registration process, the product underwent rigorous examination over approximately one year, including modifications to the application and hearings, and it has now become the first product from a company in Yamagata Prefecture to be registered in this database. Going forward, this product will be actively utilized in construction projects ordered by the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Construction.
