NTT East Japan Chiba Division has started a demonstration experiment in collaboration with Miyakawa Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Aichi Corporation to implement an "RFID-based Outgoing Management System" and an "RFID Equipment Management System for Bucket Trucks" to reduce operational costs and improve productivity. (1) RFID-based Outgoing Management System (Miyakawa Manufacturing) With the introduction of the system, the status of outgoing items can be instantly grasped, allowing for efficient arrangements of construction work based on the items taken out. The return status can also be checked, reducing risks such as forgetting to return items or loss. Construction personnel can confirm items simply by passing through the RFID gate, and management logs are automatically generated, significantly reducing the operations required for applications by construction personnel and approvals by managers. (2) RFID Equipment Management System for Bucket Trucks At departure, the equipment loaded onto the construction vehicle is checked. If there are unconfirmed items left behind after the on-site work, an email report is sent to the manager, allowing them to follow up for confirmation. This ensures that any forgotten items can be identified on-site, allowing for a worry-free preparation for departure. Considerations are being made to facilitate discovery, such as through "alarm sounds in the cabin."
