In the seal industry, there has been a use of etching blades (corrosion blades) for some time, primarily for half-cut applications of seals. At Pinnacle Die, we have transformed the rounded tip, which was a weakness of the etching blade (corrosion blade), into a sharp edge through CNC sharpening processing. This allows for the cutting of materials such as paper and film, which could not be achieved with conventional etching blades, and it is now sufficiently capable of handling the cutting of FPC substrates that require high precision. It can be utilized in the production of prototypes for high-precision FPC substrates and precision parts. Additionally, the blade height can be adjusted according to the thickness of the products being cut.
