Magnetic shield room used for biomagnetic measurements and electron microscopy.
▼Features of Magnetic Shield Rooms and Magnetic Shield Cases▼ ●Magnetic Shield Room A magnetic shield room is constructed by attaching magnetic shielding materials to the walls and ceiling of a building. This method primarily involves on-site work and is used for relatively large rooms. It is also possible to create new wall surfaces by erecting partitions in areas where there are no walls in the building. ●Magnetic Shield Case This is a smaller, box-shaped shield compared to the room. It is mainly used for measuring devices that utilize electron beams, such as electron microscopes, and is installed to completely cover the device, protecting it from external magnetic fields. It is self-supporting with an aluminum or stainless steel frame, and a permalloy magnetic shield is constructed. The position and size of doors and openings can be designed according to your requirements. *For inquiries or consultations regarding our products, please use the contact form on our website.* 【Contact Us】https://www.ohtama.co.jp/contact.html

basic information
In a wide range of fields such as healthcare, industry, and research, there are many technologies around us that utilize magnetism or involve the generation of magnetic fields. On the other hand, precision instruments that are affected by magnetic fields are also widely used, and in recent years, as their accuracy has increased, they have become even more susceptible to magnetic field influences. At Ohtama, we design and construct shielding for equipment that generates magnetic fields and for equipment that is easily affected by magnetic fields, tailored to our customers' needs. Applications/Examples of results
**Main Uses** ● Hospitals Biomagnetic measurement is expected to be a next-generation diagnostic method. It helps in elucidating higher brain functions, early detection of heart diseases, and diagnosing spinal nerve function disorders. Since biomagnetism is extremely weak, it is necessary to eliminate the influence of magnetic fields present in our living environment for measurement. For this purpose, magnetic shielded rooms are used. ● Equipment Electron microscopes are susceptible to magnetic influences, and symptoms such as "image blurring" or "discomfort at certain times" may occur during use. In such cases, it is possible that the magnetic field environment is poor, and implementing magnetic field countermeasures may allow for comfortable use at all times. **Other Examples of Use (Locations, Equipment)** - Semiconductor factories - Research laboratories - Office buildings - Hospitals - Computer rooms - Electron beam lithography equipment - Electron microscopes - CRT displays - MRI - Elevators - Power cables - Electrical rooms - Trains - MRI
