This is an announcement from Safety Network Japan and Pilz Japan regarding the open network for safety and automation. ■□■Features■□■ ■Support for product conformity certification - The "Optical Data Transmission Device" manufactured by Hokuyo Electric Co., Ltd. is the first to be certified for SafetyBUSp by a Japanese certification group. - Already adopted and currently in operation in Australia for SafetyBUSp. ■Gateway usage rights - Prototype of a gateway for SafetyBUSp, with intellectual property held by the Japanese branch. - Safety compliant with EN954-1 Category 4 and IEC 61508 SIL 3, as recognized by TUV evaluation reports. - Members of the Japanese branch can freely utilize it for product development.
