Directly connect 2 RS232C devices to the network.
◆The Ethernet side communication protocol comes standard with TCP/IP, UDP, and TELNET, and the network-side communication partner devices communicate with [Enet-100R2] using TCP and UDP sockets. ◆It is equipped with automatic recognition and switching functions for 100/10Mbps, full duplex/half duplex, allowing for flexible system construction. ◆The opening/closing of network connections can be performed from either the [Enet-100R2] side or the host side. Incoming data during an open connection is sent to the network partner device in packet units, and only the data portion of packets from the network partner device is sent to RS232C. ◆Communication conditions, Ethernet-related addresses, etc., can be interactively set in program mode. These condition settings are stored in FLASH ROM. Settings can be made using a terminal software and a computer's RS232C or via TELNET LOGIN. Additionally, with the incorporation of FLASH ROM, online firmware version upgrades are also possible.

basic information
The [Enet-100R2] is a higher model of the popular [Enet-R], serving as an interface that enables bidirectional communication between different protocols of synchronous RS232C and Ethernet. By constructing a core with the same structure as the Linux TCP/IP stack, it enhances support for various related TCP/IP protocols, achieving a more stable system integration. The device features two independent RS232C ports, allowing a single [Enet-100R2] to connect simultaneously to two synchronous RS232C devices. There is no need for program creation; by specifying the IP address and port number via commands, socket communication with two RS232C devices can be easily established. It allows for flexible communication with the LAN-side host.
