Products manufactured after the ban on PCBs in 1972 are also likely to contain PCB oil due to past maintenance inspections and long-term neglect, making verification based on manufacturing date and model insufficient. Additionally, for equipment where the possibility of PCB contamination cannot be completely ruled out, similar measures to those for PCB waste are required until it is confirmed that the equipment does not contain PCBs.
