Embedding Resin: Epoxy Resin "HERZOG Epoxy" [Free Sample]
<HERZOG Epo> <HERZOG Epo Low Viscosity>
Main agent of epoxy resin. It is a two-component resin that is mixed with an epoxy hardener to embed samples. It is the ideal resin for sample embedding.
We offer two types of epoxy resin. Free samples will be sent along with the hardener (non-toxic). If you are interested, please contact us. <HERZOG Epoxy> This is an epoxy base resin designed with optimal hardness, adhesion, transparency, and shrinkage for embedding and polishing samples. <HERZOG Low Viscosity Epoxy> This is a low viscosity type of epoxy base resin. It easily penetrates gaps in samples and is suitable for complex shapes. It also produces minimal bubbles. ☆You can also purchase it on Amazon. Please check the link below.

basic information
Two new epoxy resins have been added to the lineup. <HERZOG Epoxy> Recommended for everyday embedding. ● Curing time: 8-12 hours, mixing ratio: 100:10 (weight), 100:10-12 (volume) <HERZOG Low Viscosity Epoxy> Recommended for embedding porous samples. ● Curing time: 8-12 hours, mixing ratio: 100:10 (weight) ★ The epoxy base resin cures when mixed with a hardener. "HERZOG Epoxy" and "HERZOG Low Viscosity Epoxy" cure when mixed with "Epoxy Resin Hardener-2." This hardener is classified as 'non-hazardous!' Please also check "Epoxy Resin Hardener-2." <Vacuum Impregnation Machine VACUMET> Recommended for those who want to further improve degassing and adhesion. ● It is a simple and easy-to-operate impregnation device. Since resin can be poured in under vacuum, the adhesion between the sample and the resin is improved. It is also possible to degas the bubbles generated when stirring the resin.

Hartzok Japan has been a specialized company in pre-treatment equipment for about 30 years. The pre-treatment equipment we handle refers to devices that prepare samples in the optimal condition for analytical instruments. In recent years, the performance of analytical instruments has improved, allowing for more precise analyses. However, as the accuracy of analysis increases, the results can vary significantly based on the quality of the pre-treatment process. For example, even if there is a top-spec microscope, poor pre-treatment due to contamination, loss, or uneven polishing will result in low analytical accuracy. Conversely, even a lower-spec microscope can yield high-precision analysis results if the polishing is done well. Pre-treatment equipment is often postponed in capital investment, but the results of the pre-treatment process become more critical as higher analytical accuracy is sought. Moreover, this pre-treatment process is largely analog and relies heavily on empirical knowledge. Hartzok Japan will contribute to improving our customers' quality with the know-how we have cultivated over many years in the field of pre-treatment.
