The MAT800 series is ideal for handover testing of various wireless communication devices such as wireless LAN, mobile phones, WiMAX, ETC/DSRC, dynamic operation testing (dynamic testing), communication simulations for reception sensitivity and failure countermeasures, as well as virtual testing of electric field strength measurements for reception failure countermeasures during rainfall in BS/CS digital broadcasting reception equipment. The MAT800 series adopts an electronic switching method, enabling high-speed switching of 2μs without spikes. The maximum attenuation is 80dB, with attenuation settings available in minimum steps of 0.05dB. It has a built-in program memory of 128k words, and arbitrary waveforms can be easily created using the included attenuation program creation software. Five models are available based on frequency bands: MAT800/A (1.5–4.5GHz) MAT800/B (3.0–9.0GHz) MAT800/C (4.5–12.5GHz) MAT800/D (1.95–5.85GHz) MAT800/E (750MHz–2.25GHz)
