**Overview of Lipid-Decomposing Bacteria** By continuously adding Humax to the grease traps and adjustment tanks of existing wastewater treatment facilities, high concentrations of lipids can be decomposed, significantly reducing the load on subsequent biological treatment processes. If using pressurized flotation devices, the running costs of chemicals and the disposal costs of sludge will be greatly reduced (pressurized flotation will no longer be necessary). **Overview of Oil Decomposing Bacteria** Humax is a liquid extracted over time from high-quality soil and rocks, containing a large number of bacteria that decompose oil and fats. Many other products use surfactants (components of detergents), which break down oil and fats into fatty acids, making it easier for the microorganisms in the subsequent aeration tank to decompose them, but this increases the inflow pollution load. While it may seem that the grease trap has become clean, it merely changes form and flows into the next tank. Humax decomposes and removes oil and fats in the initial stage, significantly reducing the pollution load for biological treatment in the subsequent stage. Additionally, it has a deodorizing effect, so the sour odor produced when oil oxidizes is almost eliminated.
