A purge agent (resin cleaning agent) is a type of cleaning agent that removes resin and carbon from metal surfaces. It is used in plastic molding machines and extrusion molding machines to eliminate plastic and carbon that have melted and accumulated during production, preventing a decrease in yield. In the past, abrasive types were common, which could scratch the surface of molding machines, but recently, types using boric acid as the main component have become mainstream, creating a film on the metal surface to detach and remove dirt.
