This is a case study of original flags and banners created for a customer operating a live house, intended for use as signs and guides at the entrance of the store. The size is W300×H550mm, and two pieces were produced using light-blocking tarpaulin fabric that supports double-sided printing. The processing includes a pocket finish at the top and sewing in ropes at the left and right bottoms, and they are delivered in folded packaging. The flags previously used had issues where they would get caught on the support poles due to being lifted by the wind, or tear from rubbing against the wall. Therefore, we consulted on material selection and proposed using light-blocking tarpaulin with reinforcement processing on three sides. After installation, we received feedback stating, "It no longer gets caught at all, and it's very good." This case study can serve as a reference for those who have concerns about flags in front of their stores being lifted by the wind or being prone to tearing, as well as for those considering suitable materials and processing methods for their installation environment.
