W-Station is a delivery storage robot designed to automate the entire process from receiving packages to individual delivery without human intervention. It is installed in the lobby of a building, allowing delivery drivers to drop off packages in bulk, after which sorting, storage, and handover to delivery robots are carried out automatically. As soon as a box is inserted, AI label recognition technology reads the address, size, and weight. It supports labels from three countries: South Korea, the United States, and Japan, with recognition occurring in under 0.5 seconds. Based on the delivery address and package size, it determines the optimal storage location and automatically sorts and loads the packages. Recipients can summon the delivery robot James mW II at their desired time, which will deliver the packages to the front of each residence. It also accommodates users who prefer to pick up their packages directly. Compared to conventional unmanned delivery boxes, it can store 64% more packages within the same installation area.
