The distance from the handle to the probe (measuring part) is 156 mm. The length of the probe is 112 mm, allowing for measurements to be taken away from the measuring part and the hand. By setting the wire probe to the main unit, the temperature inside ovens, grills, etc., as well as the temperature of food, can be monitored from outside. The heat-resistant stainless steel mesh wire is approximately 1 m long (simultaneous measurement of the main probe and wire probe is not possible; the wire probe takes priority). The length of the wire probe is 105 mm. When the desired temperature setting is reached, an alarm will sound to notify those nearby. The material of the main unit is ABS resin. The measuring probe is made of hygienic, rust-free food-safe 304 stainless steel. A powerful internal magnet allows the thermometer to be securely attached to refrigerators or steel products, and the main unit is slim and compact, with a thickness of 18 mm and a weight of 67 g, making it easy to store. It is suitable for temperature management in meat cooking for camping, BBQ (barbecue), grilling, etc. The measurement range is -50°C to 300°C. Optimal temperature examples are (BBQ 220–280°C, coffee 90–95°C, tempura low temperature 150–160°C / medium temperature 170–180°C / high temperature 180–190°C, smoking 50–80°C, roast beef 50–60°C).
