It can be taught by manual operation. Making the automation of welding for small lots of various types easier to implement.
At Hoshin Welding Materials, we propose a collaborative welding robot (Cobot Welding) system utilizing the FAIRINO "FR5." The main feature is the "Direct Teach" function, which allows the robot arm to be manually moved to teach the welding position and motion path. This system supports the automation and labor-saving of manual and semi-automatic welding processes as a countermeasure to the shortage of welders and successor technicians. It is also recommended for small lot production with a variety of products, as well as for frequent setup changes in manufacturing, frames, brackets, and more. Based on CO2 welding, we can consult on various workpieces and welding methods such as MAG, MIG, and TIG. It is compatible with tablet TP and PC connections. The FR5 is a 6-axis collaborative robot with a payload of 5 kg, a reach of 922 mm, and a repeatability of ±0.02 mm. We also support considerations for the introduction of Welding Robots/Robot Welding/Cobots and can propose welding machines, wires, gases, torches, jigs, welding tables, and peripheral equipment. We also accommodate demo and test welding. For more details, please refer to the PDF catalog.

basic information
■Direct Teach Move the robotic arm by hand to intuitively teach the welding position and motion path. This operation method is easy to adapt for small lots of various types and for changing types. ■Multi-Variety Operation The FAIRINO collaborative robot supports program registration. The Daihen "Welbee The Short Arc 350" can register up to 100 welding conditions, assisting with type switching and setup changes. ■Operation Method Supports Direct Teach / Tablet TP / PC connection. ■Mobile Operation When moving the entire frame, it is possible to reset and correct the work coordinate system after positioning for operation. ■Total Proposal Consultation is available for welding machines, CO2, MAG, MIG, TIG, welding wires, shielding gases, torches, consumables, work tables, jigs, and peripheral equipment. 【Implementation Flow】 Inquiry → Confirm target workpiece → Consider applicability → Demo/test welding → Quotation → Implementation/start-up
