Centrifugal force switch to detect excessive speed of suspended loads and prevent accidents for safety assurance.
In IB control and DY control, if the DC power supply becomes de-energized due to some failure, the suspended load will fall, causing an accident. This switch detects the overspeed at that time, activates the main contactor to cut off the power supply, and stops the operation of the electromagnetic brake. This switch is directly connected to the pinion shaft of the gearbox to detect the rotational speed. Please do not use a V-belt connection as it is dangerous. The contacts consist of two sets of automatic reset contacts (AC220V 10A), with the standard set at the reference rotational speed (equivalent to motor synchronous speed) of 400 min-1. The operating rotational speeds are set at 540 min-1 for the first speed and 880 min-1 for the second speed (equivalent to double speed overspeed detection in inverter control). (The maximum operating rotational speed for FBJ1-AR3 is 1,000 min-1. We can also manufacture for 1,000 to 2,000 min-1, so please inquire when making a request.)
