In the hospital industry, preventing pressure ulcers (bedsores) is a crucial issue for ensuring patient comfort and maintaining health. Particularly, prolonged bed rest and uneven pressure distribution increase the risk of developing pressure ulcers. Appropriate repositioning and early detection of pressure points are essential for improving patients' quality of life (QOL). Our "Tech Mat" contributes to addressing these challenges with high-precision pressure monitoring and rapid alert functions. Equipped with 1,024 sensors, the Tech Mat detects the pressure distribution of elderly patients in real-time and monitors their posture and pressure status on the bed 24 hours a day. If the time without repositioning exceeds a set duration, an alert prompts staff to assist with repositioning to prevent pressure ulcers. It is highly flexible and resistant to bending, ensuring comfort even during prolonged use.
