Metal powder with precisely controlled chemical composition during dissolution.
The correction of alloy composition is not merely a technical requirement in the steelmaking process, but an important factor in producing steel and special metals with properties that meet demanding applications. By adjusting the chemical composition of metal alloys during melting, the correction of alloy composition allows for the precise fulfillment of the quality and performance standards required for all lots. Whether manufacturing stainless steel, aluminum, special alloys, or cast iron, precise correction of alloy composition ensures that the desired chemical composition and grade are reliably achieved. Heganes is capable of providing alloy correction materials with unparalleled consistency and purity. Unlike steel scrap or pig iron with composition variability, Heganes products, which come in forms such as reduction powders, flakes, and briquettes, are designed to achieve stable chemical properties and high quality. These materials enable steelmakers to keep the levels of carbon and phosphorus low, which is essential for special steels used in demanding fields such as the oil and gas industry.
