Akariina Contract
A comfortable shared space with soft light filtered through washi paper.
We have adopted the Akari-na C "Kinari" horizontal blinds for a factory designed with the concept of "a factory like a park," which emphasizes coexistence with the natural environment and the creation of a comfortable environment. "Kinari" is a blind characterized by its natural texture reminiscent of washi paper and soft light. It has been appreciated for its calm design that harmonizes with the interior of shared spaces and the authentic texture of real washi paper. Creating a bright and comfortable environment that utilizes natural light not only improves the lighting in large spaces such as factories and warehouses but also helps reduce electricity costs by minimizing the use of artificial lighting. ■ Installation Direction ■ South ■ Used Blinds ■ Kinari: Visible light transmittance of 34.2%. The blinds are made from 100% Kozo washi paper. * The Akari-na daylight blinds have different specifications, warranty contents, and services for corporate and personal use. The use of natural light has been practiced for a long time, and in Japan, shoji screens are a prime example. However, in recent years, there has been an increase in buildings that rely on artificial lighting without incorporating natural light during the day. While natural light has the disadvantage of being affected by weather and seasons, it excels in terms of openness, brightness, and quality of light. Our proposal is to create a space where natural light can be felt more comfortably and pleasantly indoors. This is our concept of "creating an eco-friendly and comfortable environment in harmony with natural light." Our main product, the Akarina C daylighting blind, brings in natural light and transforms it into soft, diffused light to brighten indoor spaces, thereby reducing the need for artificial lighting. Additionally, it minimizes the impact of outside temperatures, reducing temperature fluctuations near windows. As a result, it keeps spaces cool in summer and warm in winter, reducing the load on air conditioning and contributing to energy savings. The slats are highly durable and resistant to light, making them less prone to breakage and ensuring a long lifespan. With an anti-static treatment, they are less likely to collect dust, making maintenance easy. The Akarina C is an economical and environmentally friendly product. *The Akarina daylighting blind is available in versions for businesses and individuals, differing in specifications, warranty, and services. The version for businesses is called Akarina Contract (abbreviated as Akarina C).
