The Hashimoto-style non-rail gate employs bearing pulleys for all types of wheels—suspension, bottom, and roller—significantly reducing the weight of the steel. Its barrier-free structure, which does not have rails on the ground, is unaffected by snow, mud, or uneven surfaces. The main cause of weight is the friction from rail-based structures and the resistance caused by dirt and deformation of the ground. In a non-rail structure, the suspension wheel guide rail is elevated from the ground, preventing such issues from occurring structurally.
