【Lecture Overview】 In recent times, with the soaring construction costs, there have been noticeable instances of unsuccessful bids for hospital construction projects. It has become a challenge for stakeholders to determine how to proceed with the renewal of medical facilities. Although Ando Hazama does not have extensive experience in the design and construction of medical facilities, we are steadily engaged in the construction and design of medical facilities with fewer than 300 beds. Among these, our project, the "Ariake Medical Center ECI Project," has increasingly been introduced as a successful case of medical facility ECI projects. In this session, we will use the Ariake Medical Center ECI Project as a case study to explain in detail the specific contents of the ECI project, as well as how we implemented commissioning (CX) after the completion of the hospital to reduce running costs, using real examples.
