The techno band determines the risk of heatstroke based on the rise in the heat index and heart rate. The risk of heatstroke increases, especially as one gets older. This is due to a decrease in the body's water content and a decline in muscle mass, which lowers the basal metabolic rate and weakens the ability to regulate body temperature. As the risk of heatstroke increases, the heart rate rises. The techno band assesses the risk of heatstroke based on the increase in heart rate by age group. For example, when the heat index is between 28 and 30, the heart rate risk by age group is as follows: 20s: 170 or above 30s: 165 or above 40s: 150 or above 50s: 145 or above 60s: 135 or above The techno band conducts risk assessments before heatstroke occurs using algorithms based on the heat index and age-specific heart rates.
