[Technical Introduction] High Hardness and High Corrosion Resistance Ni-W Alloy Plating Overcoming Brittleness
It has high hardness and high corrosion resistance, making it suitable as an alternative to hard chromium plating.
We have successfully developed a Ni-W alloy plating technology with high strength, high ductility, and high corrosion resistance. The elastic deformation of the Ni-W alloy plating film has a significant value of 2.0% (ten times that of general metallic materials). Despite being a hard material with a Vickers hardness of over HV600, the Ni-W electroplated plate does not exhibit brittle fracture even when subjected to a 180-degree complete adhesion bending test.
