Safety measures: Case study on mirror installation. Safety measures with freely installable mirrors!
FF Stand Mirror (F48SL/F48SR)
Enhance safety checks with a freely installable stand mirror! (Kanagawa Urban Transportation)
We would like to introduce the feedback from Kanagawa Urban Transportation, who implemented the FF Mirror Stand Mirror as a safety measure when exiting the parking space onto the sidewalk. There were concerns raised internally about the possibility of contact with pedestrians and electric assist bicycles when the hired vehicles exit the parking space onto the road, leading to the decision to install Komi's "FF Stand Mirror" as a safety measure. We also considered installing it on a pillar, but since the installation location was slightly recessed, it was difficult to confirm the sidewalk properly. Therefore, we concluded that a freely placed stand mirror would be the most suitable option. Since the installation, drivers have been able to check the mirror before starting, and it has received positive feedback, with comments like "We can now confidently enter the road."

Company information
When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, and to show "consideration" for others. For example, it can be used to check with a mirror if there is anyone coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to see if there is someone trying to get into an elevator and wait for them. Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful worldwide, from convenience stores to airplanes.
