Asia Color Trend Book: The Expansion of Diversity in Asia

Designs that can be chosen according to individual preferences regardless of gender, fashion that does not discriminate based on the presence or absence of disabilities, and many innovative initiatives in various industries!

Diversity in terms of gender, age, the presence or absence of disabilities, majority and minority, and values exists in various forms. Diverse values that were once not recognized in Asia are now becoming visible, and there is a noticeable expansion in the ways they can be interpreted. The interpretation of diversity encompasses not only the socially constructed rules of what is considered "normal" and the outward symbols recognized by others, but also values rooted in the cultures and uniqueness of each country, as well as individual experiences. This suggests a new direction for society. In the "Asia Color Trend Book 2024-25," through six themes, we focus on the reconstruction of Asian identity and the major trends of sustainability, the overlap of virtual and real experiences, and the desire for connection arising from the backlash against virtual interactions that became familiar during the COVID-19 pandemic.
