The ST#7HED-13A (ST7HED13A) is a tie-pin microphone headset made by Tanizawa. It can be used with Tanizawa's digital echo mate portable radios ST#747M-H, ST#727M, ST#722SH, and ST#722LG. This lightweight and compact earphone microphone allows for hands-free operation of the radio. It features a directional microphone suitable for use in noisy environments. A directional microphone is one that picks up sound only from a specific direction. The earphone and cable parts are detachable, allowing for easy replacement of individual components in case of failure. It has an IPX4 equivalent level of everyday water resistance (not waterproof when disassembled).
