The ST#7HED-16ETA (ST7HED16ETA) is a noise-canceling headset manufactured by Tanizawa. It is a hands-free headset with a noise-canceling microphone and earphone type that can be used with Tanizawa's digital echo mate portable radios ST#747M-H, ST#727M, ST#722SH, and ST#722LG. It can be attached to most protective helmets. The received audio is heard through the earphones, and the transmitted audio is picked up by the microphone. It features a directional microphone suitable for use in noisy environments. A directional microphone is one that picks up sound only from a specific direction. It is equipped with a noise-canceling microphone that is optimal for use in noisy conditions, and the microphone has a windscreen to prevent wind noise. It has an IPX4 equivalent waterproof performance (not waterproof when disassembled).
