■ Excellent Performance of Structural LVL JWOOD JWOOD LVL is an engineered wood made by laminating approximately 4mm thick veneers. It averages the performance of the veneers, achieving stable quality with minimal variation. It is JAS certified, with bending strength and shear strength values that are 10-20% higher than those of other materials. ■ Long-term Dimensional Stability The veneers are thoroughly dried at the initial stage, maintaining a low moisture content uniformly. There is extremely little shrinkage (material loss), which enhances adhesion with hardware, resulting in stronger joints. ■ High Strength Joints with JWOOD Method The joints of beams exhibit about 1.5 times the strength compared to traditional framing methods at maximum load capacity. The embedment strength of columns and beams significantly exceeds building code requirements. The nail holding capacity, crucial for shear walls, is approximately 1.4 times that of conventional foundation materials. ■ High Durability with JWOOD EX Material JWOOD EX employs a dry injection method where preservatives are injected under high pressure to the core.
