NR-Power Lab is promoting the development of a "Virtual Power Plant" service, realized through energy resource management, primarily through charging and discharging instructions for batteries, in collaboration with Sassor. By forecasting the power consumption and generation of each consumer, it automatically controls batteries and EVs to maximize economic efficiency. It is also possible to respond to demand response (DR) during times of electricity demand pressure by predicting the demand and supply within local communities and controlling the charging and discharging of batteries and EVs at each facility. Through automated control of DR in response to commands (Auto DR), it provides a SaaS service for Virtual Power Plants (VPP), which can be applied to reduce electricity procurement costs for power companies and mitigate imbalances.
