[Construction Example] Gas Permeable and Waterproof Capping Sheet Method "ADK Sheet"

Rainwater infiltration suppression into the waste layer + can be used for gas permeation from the waste layer!

We would like to introduce a case where the gas-permeable and waterproof capping sheet method "ADK Sheet" was implemented. In this project, it was necessary to excavate the waste from the existing final disposal site, set up a temporary sorting yard, and properly sort the waste for burial at a new final disposal site. After performing the burial work at the new final disposal site with appropriate waterproofing measures, the final cover was applied to complete the project. When implementing the final cover, we proposed the use of this sheet method to reduce the amount of rainwater infiltration into the waste and to allow gas generated from the waste layer to permeate, which was adopted. 【Case Overview】 ■ Adopted Method: Ventilated and Waterproof Sheet Method "ADK Sheet" ■ The ADK Sheet method can be used to suppress rainwater infiltration into the waste layer and allow gas permeation from the waste layer. ■ The ADK Sheet has a three-layer structure, with the middle layer made of "Tyvek," a polyethylene non-woven fabric that excels in chemical resistance, breathability, and waterproofing, and protective and reinforcing non-woven fabrics bonded to the upper and lower layers. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
