Tokyo Steel's green steel product "Almost Zero" is a new low CO2 steel material born from a future-oriented spirit of challenge. The CO2 emissions from electric arc furnace steelmaking are approximately 0.4 tons per ton of crude steel, of which 0.3 tons is attributed to electricity (Scope 2). Therefore, by utilizing non-fossil certificates and "Demand Response (Up DR)," we have reduced CO2 emissions caused by electricity. The CO2 emissions of this product are calculated based on the "ISO 14067" and "Carbon Footprint Guidelines (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of the Environment)" and represent the carbon footprint (CFP).
