[Mirror Implementation Case] Safety Measures in Various Areas of the Hospital!
Ramidome Super Oval Rami
An example of how installing a mirror made it possible to see around the corner of the hallway (Ariake Hospital, Cancer Research Foundation).
We would like to introduce a case where Komi Corporation's products, "Lami Dome," "Super Oval," and "Lami," were implemented at the Ariake Hospital of the Foundation for Cancer Research. The nursing department requested measures to prevent collisions, and while considering possible solutions, the hospital director introduced Komi's mirrors. Having previously purchased mirrors, we were able to borrow one this time to confirm its effectiveness on-site. Initially, we considered FF mirrors, but due to the limited installation locations, we decided on convex mirrors that provide clear reflections and are easy to check from any angle. We purchased 9 units of Lami Dome (LT5), 9 units of Lami (L7), and 22 units of Super Oval (SF68). The situations vary, including wagons, beds, stretchers, and accompanying patients, but now, thanks to the mirrors, we can see what is around the corner in the hallway, eliminating the risk of collisions. [Case Summary] ■ Products Used: Lami Dome, Super Oval, Lami ■ Effect: Collision Prevention *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Company information
When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, and to show "consideration" for others. For example, it can be used to check with a mirror if there is anyone coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to see if there is someone trying to get into an elevator and wait for them. Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful worldwide, from convenience stores to airplanes.
