Supports variant selectors used in the standardization of local public entities!
Currently, the Digital Agency is promoting the standardization of local government operations. In conjunction with this, a system is planned to be introduced that displays characters using a mechanism called Ideographic Variation Selector (IVS) instead of external characters. In the relevant operations, a font derived from IPAmj Mincho called MJ+ (officially named Administrative Affairs Standard Characters) will be used. If the system does not support IVS, it will not be able to display the correct characters, but if you use Inspire Designer, it can be easily accommodated. To display variant characters, you simply need to select the appropriate font and encoding, and check a checkbox. Furthermore, since strings containing variant characters have a different byte count than usual, counting the number of characters becomes complicated. By using Inspire Designer, processes such as "extracting only a certain number of characters from the left" and "calculating the number of digits" can be easily handled with simple scripts.
