At Araya, we are developing AI to achieve automation (autonomous control) of construction machinery and similar equipment. With the decrease in the labor force due to declining birth rates, there is a growing demand for improved efficiency in construction work. Additionally, the aging of skilled technicians handling construction machinery is progressing, increasing the need for technology transfer. In response to these challenges, Araya aims to realize autonomous construction machinery (autonomous machines) that can perform tasks autonomously and efficiently by applying reinforcement learning and imitation learning, which are types of AI technology.
