Semple Design has reissued Shiro Kuramata's representative works! Sculptures of light and transparency.
We would like to introduce the representative works of Shiro Kuramata, which have been reproduced by Semple Design! Shiro Kuramata (1934-91) was active from the mid-1960s until 1991, focusing on spatial and furniture design. Most of the spaces he created were commercial establishments, so very few still exist today. On the other hand, he also designed many objects with strong colors, and these are now part of major museum collections around the world. From among his many works, we present a selection of reproductions by Gallery Tamura Joe. 【Lineup (excerpt)】 ■ Armchair "How High the Moon" ■ Armchair "Sing Sing Sing" ■ Armchair "Apple Honey" ■ Table Lamp "SAMBA - M" ■ Table Lamp "Hydrogen dream" *For more details, please refer to the related link page or feel free to contact us.

SEMPRE KEYWORD With "Living and Design" as our keyword, SEMPRE creates a platform to distribute the tools and materials necessary for the future, carefully balancing design, quality, and price to enrich daily life and produce excellent designs. We believe that good design distribution requires consistency in operating as a retail entity—both in stores and online—as well as wholesale and contract, discovering and developing products from around the world. Additionally, we handle everything necessary for this operation, from design development and store development to catalog and online systems, and managing studios as spaces for expression. SEMPRE considers it design to consistently engage in what is necessary to realize concepts, and we aim to contribute to society moving forward.
