The "HPT (Hydrolic Profiling Tool)" is a system that explores the characteristics of the ground by radiating a constant flow of water from the probe side and measuring the return pressure, thereby investigating differences in permeability of the soil. It is equipped with a Wenner method (4-electrode method) for measuring electrical conductivity, allowing for the measurement of soil characteristics based on both electrical and physical properties.
