Case studies of slope stabilization methods in special warning areas for sediment disasters - Consideration for landscape, shortened construction period, cost reduction, and feasible construction in small spaces.

In recent years, with the increase in rainfall, the importance of slope measures in urban areas has been rising. In residential areas and public facilities, slope measures often face limitations in terms of delivery and construction space. However, the unit net method allows for delivery and construction in smaller spaces compared to traditional shotcrete frame work and rebar insertion methods. It is also ideal for areas where it is difficult to remove felled trees or where there is a desire to stabilize slopes while preserving greenery. We have a wealth of construction achievements, with approximately 1,000 cases and 710,000 m², including instances where special disaster warning areas (red zones) have been lifted. ◇◆ You can download the collection of construction examples from the link below. ◆◇ Please take a look!

basic information

Overview of the Unit Net Method The "Unit Net Method" is a ground reinforcement technique that stabilizes slopes where trees and other vegetation grow, without cutting down those trees, while preserving the landscape and natural environment. It consists of a unit net that covers the entire slope and reinforcement materials (rock bolts) installed at the intersections of the net, along with pressure plates at the heads of the reinforcement materials. NETIS Registration Number KK-010068-V (Registration ended in April 2017) For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Daika Corporation has contributed to the development of Japan's social infrastructure through the sale of industrial explosives since its establishment in 1931. Currently, the range of products handled by Daika includes industrial explosives, construction materials, slope disaster prevention technology, and synthetic resin products, among others. All of these are connected by keywords such as "reduction of environmental impact," "economic efficiency," "safety and security," and "maintenance and management." For example, in slope disaster prevention technology, while improving safety is a fundamental goal, we are also developing construction methods that have low environmental impact and are economically viable. Additionally, synthetic resin products possess the advantages of reducing environmental impact through recycling and excellent economic efficiency. In order to leave a slightly better living environment for the next generation, we aim to enhance our product offerings that seek harmony between the environment and society, contributing to the realization of a livable society now and in the future.
