[CSR Measures] Turning Waste Materials into Crafts! Upcycling Project

All kinds of waste materials are combined with craftsmanship, reborn as collaborative products with local businesses and unique souvenirs from the area!

This project began with the idea of utilizing Aomori's resources (materials), particularly focusing on those that can be recycled, including waste and incinerated materials, to develop products that connect Aomori's blessings (such as cherry blossoms and apple pruning branches) with the world. The aim is to achieve effective use of local materials to enhance Aomori Prefecture's new appeal and value, striving for a project that Aomori can be proud of. Specifically, we will narrow down products from a range of product groups that can be handled by various machinery and develop, introduce, and investigate samples. In particular, if the use of wood products is successful, it could contribute to the reduction of plastic use and the establishment of a circular society.
