We would like to introduce a case study of the IP network-compatible intercom system 'IX Series'. [Education Board of Kawanishi City] Kawanishi City is located in the southeastern part of Hyogo Prefecture, a residential city blessed with rich nature and transportation. The city demonstrates a fundamental stance of "initiating policies from children and education" and is focusing on enhancing the school education environment. [Challenges] - To strengthen security, an auto-lock system was trialed, but due to the high number of visitors, staff had to frequently unlock the door from the staff room, complicating operations. - As the city aimed to implement security systems in all public schools, there was a desire to minimize costs associated with construction and maintenance.
