We worked on the theme of solving environmental issues related to the construction industry. It has been reported that approximately 40% of global CO2 emissions come from the construction industry, and as a countermeasure, the promotion of buildings aimed at achieving net zero annual energy consumption, known as ZEB (Net Zero Energy Building), is being advanced worldwide. Achieving ZEB requires significant energy conservation. It is important to suppress the energy load of buildings by appropriately combining advanced equipment and materials within specific constraints. In this uncharted target project, we aimed to contribute to the spread of environmentally friendly buildings by developing an energy-efficient building design support tool called "ZEBOpt," which utilizes an annealing machine to reverse-engineer exterior designs from energy-saving building standards. *For more detailed information, please refer to the related links.
