019【Our Technical Capabilities】2024/10/28 We are Nitto Kousakusho Co., Ltd., engaged in precision machining in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture. We offer a wide range of services, from single-item machining and small to medium lot production to consulting for jigs, dedicated machines, and prototype development support, delivering reliable quality with our unique technical capabilities as a comprehensive manufacturing company. This time, I would like to discuss a request for the design and manufacturing of a dedicated machine (an upward-facing drill press). We received a concept from the client and, contrary to the usual design, inverted the mechanism of the drill press to place the workpiece on top. Depending on the shape of the workpiece, this design offers advantages in efficiency and precision compared to traditional clamping methods. Based on this concept, we handled everything from design to manufacturing, machine control, and painting in a consistent manner, and delivered the initial prototype.
