We would like to introduce our "angiogenesis inhibitor" that suppresses CD9 expression (siRNA). Results from validation using a rat corneal model showed that the suppression of CD9 expression significantly inhibited both the motility and invasiveness of endothelial cells. Additionally, the angiogenesis inhibitory effect was confirmed in both pathways involving different angiogenic factors (HGF and VEGF).
