[Design Collaboration Case] From Forced Layout to User-Centered Bicycle Parking Design

Realizing a user-friendly bicycle parking area from the user's perspective! A case that also includes a space for large bicycles.

We would like to introduce a case where our company collaborated on the design of a public bicycle parking facility directly connected to the station. At the time of consultation with us, products from other manufacturers were crammed into a layout that was not feasible. The original design drawings indicated that the planned area was entirely under an elevated structure, and the height of the beams was critical, prompting the design team to conduct on-site measurements themselves. By effectively utilizing the space under the beams, we were able to accommodate approximately 400 bicycles as desired, and we also prepared an area for larger bicycles.
